Bible DLE – Guess the Book of the Holy Scriptures

,

Do you enjoy biblical quizzes that also teach? This DLE challenges you to guess which book of the Bible is the target by crossing end dates, period (BC/AD), historical scope (beginning–end), authors, chapters, and the place of composition. It's a practical way to review the chronology, the authorship, and the context of each book — from the Pentateuch to the Epistles and the Revelation.

How to play

  1. Type the name of a biblical book as a guess.
  2. The game compares your guess with the target book and signals:
    • Whether the Period (BC/AD) is the same.
    • Whether the End date is before or after the target (numeric field).
    • Whether the Scope (Start–End) is close to the target.
    • Matches in Writers, Number of chapters, and Location.
  3. Use the clues to refine your guesses until you identify the book.

Tips:

  • The date columns are numerical to allow comparisons (older/newer).
  • In some books, the scope is not clear in the sources; in these cases, the field may be empty.
  • Want to increase the difficulty? Change the game settings!
