DragonBall DLE – Guess the Character Game

,

If you love Dragon Ball — from the classic DB to the explosive DBZ, including DBS and DBGT — this DLE was made for you. Here, each guess reveals hints that cross attributes of the universe created by Akira Toriyama. Your challenge is to use logic (and a little memory) to discover the hidden character in the least number of attempts possible.

In this DLE, each guess returns clear comparisons between your guess and the target. You see what matches and what doesn't match, as well as sortable hints when there are numbers in parentheses — perfect for understanding if the target is "older" or "newer" and if it's "stronger" or "weaker."

What does the game compare?

  • Sex – male/female/undefined as the case may be.
  • Race – Saiyan, Human, Namekian, Android, Majin, etc.
  • Origin – planet or location (e.g.: Planet Vegeta, Earth, Namek).
  • Alignment – Ally, Villain or Neutral.
  • Power Level – in tiers with numbers for comparison:
    Civil (1)Fighter (2)Z Fighter (3)Elite (4)Divine (5).
  • Hair (Base) – color of the standard form (without transformations).
  • Status – Alive or Dead (general context of the saga).
  • Appearance Arc – also numbered to indicate the order in the chronology (e.g.: Namek (11), Androids (12), Majin Buu (15)).
  • Appears in – abbreviated series: DB, DBZ, DBS, DBGT.

Quick strategy tips

  • Start with rare attributes (race, arc, presence in the series) to eliminate many names at once.
  • Use the Power Level to determine if you should aim higher or lower (e.g., if the target is “greater” than Fighter (2), try Z Fighter (3) or higher).
  • Check the Arc (n): if your guess indicates (11) and the game signals that the target is younger, prioritize characters from later arcs (Androids, Cell, Buu, DBS, etc.).
  • In names, prefer the spelling used in MAL (e.g., Jinzouningen 18-gou, Son, Gokuu). This increases the hit rate of the search field.
