About this challenge
The heart brooch sits on the costume before the first step. In the early 1900s Nadja Applefield leaves the orphanage near London and climbs into the Dandelion Troupe’s wooden car: England, Paris, the Alps, Venice, Granada. Her mother may still be alive; the clue is a ballroom diary.
The grid splits who rides with the troupe, which country they come from, and which of the 50 episodes brings them in. Kennosuke draws a bokken in episode 3; pianist John sulks in Madame Moreau’s salon in 9; Rosemary turns up as a maid in Granada. Who dances Tyrolean on the boards, and who signs a theft with a black rose?
