About this challenge

At Maison Ikkoku the phone is shared, the roof leaks, and room 5 becomes an impromptu bar. Kyoko takes over as the widow manager; Godai tries to study and falls for her; Yotsuya tunnels through walls; Akemi drifts home from Cha-Cha Maru; the Ichinose family argues over sake — and every key surname hides a number, from the manager’s 0 to the hostess’s 6.

This DLE compares gender, group, occupation, name number, whether they live at the house, and their link to the building. Start with tenants versus visitors: the number and residence tags split who pays rent from who only shows up to complicate Godai and Kyoko’s romance.
