About this challenge

The carriage stops at Miss Minchin's and the girl from India steps down with a parrot, a doll still missing, and a coachman too young for the post. A lawyer already ordered the special-room bed; in the yard Lavinia is measuring the space the new girl will steal.

Here you cross group, role, school place, origin and debut episode. Start with the seminary — Sara in the special room, Ermengarde in shared lodgings, Becky in service — and use the debut arrow to split who arrives on enrolment day from who only shows when Carrisford moves in next door.
