About this challenge

In the Seto Inland Sea, seeing a mermaid’s true form is not a fairy-tale favor—it is a capital secret. Nagasumi nearly drowns, Sun Seto pulls him up, and the Seto Group turns an execution into a shotgun wedding. Soon the Michishio house hosts fish-clan guests, Isono Middle School gains yakuza teachers, and Lunar Edomae storms in with idol laughs and private bodyguards.

In this DLE, compare species (mermaid, merman, orca, octopus, seaweed), faction (Seto, Edomae, examiners, Isono) and occupation—sometimes teacher and yakuza at once. Hair color, length and glasses separate shell assassins from pink idols and silent Masa behind dark shades. Pick a name and watch the grid light up.
